Heli-skiing Racha, Georgia
Explore a new heli-skiing frontier in Georgia’s Greater Caucasus. Seven nights, six planned heli-skiing days and 10 hours of helicopter time shared by a maximum of eight guests. Discover glaciated peaks, open slopes and forest runs, with single-room accommodation and full board included. Flying and terrain depend on weather and conditions.
Racha is one of Georgia’s wildest and least-developed mountain regions—a place of wooden villages, vineyards, mineral springs and enormous Caucasus peaks. Far from ski resorts and lift queues, it offers remote terrain and a sense of discovery. For winter 2027, our local Georgian partners are launching a new heli-skiing programme here.
The 300 km² flying area combines two mountain systems. To the north, the glaciated Greater Caucasus above Ghebi and Shovi offers open shoulders, wide faces and couloirs, with descents of up to 1,200 vertical metres. To the south, forested slopes offer alternative terrain when conditions allow. Each day’s routes are chosen by the guides according to snow, visibility and weather.

A completely new heliskiing frontier
Racha is one of Georgia’s quietest and least-developed mountain regions. With no ski resorts, lift system or crowds, its high peaks and remote valleys remain almost completely unexplored by freeriders.
Six days heli-skiing with 10 helicopter hours
Your week includes six planned heli-skiing days, with 10 hours of Airbus AS350 B3 helicopter time shared by the group. The guides choose routes each morning according to snow, weather and group ability. Flying is subject to suitable conditions.
Two mountain systems, one flying zone
The 300 km² flying area combines glaciated peaks, open shoulders, wide faces and couloirs in the Greater Caucasus with forested terrain to the south. Descents can reach up to 1,200 vertical metres.

SMALL GROUP, LOCAL EXPERTISE
With a maximum of eight guests and two local IFMGA/GMGA-qualified guides, you’ll explore Racha in a small group. The helicopter carries four guests and a guide per lift, with the groups taking turns. Daily plans are shaped by snow conditions, weather and the group’s ability.
Mountain adventure meets Georgian culture
Your base is a hotel in Oni, just a two-minute walk from the helipad. Seven nights in your own room are included, with breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout your stay. Away from the mountains, enjoy an included cellar visit, Khvanchkara wine tasting and traditional Racha food—a taste of the region’s warm Georgian hospitality.
