Sam Ford

Sam Ford brings an infectious enthusiasm for skiing, adventure and mountain life to the Powder Mad team. A qualified CSIA Level 2 Ski Instructor, he combines strong technical knowledge with a relaxed, approachable style that helps guests feel at home both on and off the snow.

Having spent a winter season working in the Canadian Rockies, alongside numerous ski trips throughout Europe, Sam has developed a deep appreciation for different mountain cultures and the incredible experiences they offer. Whether skiing perfectly spaced trees, wide-open powder bowls or exploring hidden local terrain, he is always happiest with skis on his feet.

As one of our Powder Mad hosts, you'll most likely find Sam welcoming guests in North Macedonia or Georgia, where he'll be on hand throughout the trip to ensure everything runs smoothly. From airport arrivals and hotel check-ins to sharing stories over dinner and making sure everyone gets the very best from their Powder Mad adventure, Sam is there to help create an unforgettable experience.

Away from the mountains, Sam is also a passionate content creator, documenting the reality of skiing, travel and progression through his social media channels. Rather than simply showcasing the highlights, he enjoys sharing the journey of learning, improving and embracing new challenges, inspiring others to get out into the mountains.
