The ultimate powder playground in kashmir

Get ready to shred Gulmarg, Kashmir! Join Jamie Barrow and Powder Mad's Jem Rose for some film making in Kashmir. High on the slopes of Mt. Apharwat, Gulmarg is the powder paradise you’ve been waiting for. Boasting over 1,330 vertical meters of skiable terrain and home to the world’s highest gondola, ascending to a dizzying 3,980 meters. This is where epic runs meet endless powder, making it an unmissable destination for riders looking to push their limits.

But there’s more than just the powder. Gulmarg’s roots run deep, established as a ski resort in 1927 by British Army officers, but long before that, it was a summer escape for Mughal kings and British elites. Today, with Phase II of the Gondola stretching nearly to the summit of Mt. Apharwat at 4,124 meters, it offers some of the most challenging and exhilarating runs anywhere in the world.

Located just 52 km from Srinagar, Gulmarg village sits at an elevation of 2,650 meters and receives some of the heaviest snowfall in the Himalayas. This once “Meadow of Flowers” has transformed into a world-class powder mecca. Answer the call of the Himalayas—Gulmarg awaits.

"Whether you’re chasing deep snow or stunning views, Gulmarg is the ultimate ride."
